The Southern Hemisphere’s only observation wheel brings 360-degree views of beautiful Melbourne. You’ll definitely see the city from a different perspective.
The Melbourne Star Observation Wheel lets you experience the scenery of Melbourne in a new way. I was lucky enough to be able to set up my camera and take stunning photographs. After you have taken your turn on the wheel there are lots of shopping to do, restaurants and bars to explore. Because it is right on Docklands, taking an afternoon walk along the waterfront was amazing.
There are 21 spacious, air-conditioned cabins that allow you to have unmatched views of the City. There is an audio commentary, which gives you brief information about the history and significance of the sights below you.
To be honest, I thought this would be very much the same as the Eureka SkyTower, however this was surprisingly just as amazing. Being in a cabin while slowly moving around in a circle and being able to walk around at the same time was really awesome! Would definitely recommend, especially going down to get a bite to eat afterwards!
